How to Request a Repeat Prescription
Requesting a repeat medication is easy — just choose the way that works best for you:

Pop in: Visit the practice and speak to our team
When you contact us, please have the following ready:
- Your pet’s name
- The medication you’re requesting
- Your contact details
- How much medication you need
How Long Does It Take?
Please allow at least 48 hours (2 working days) for us to process your repeat prescription request.
We’ll contact you as soon as it’s ready to collect!
If your pet hasn’t been seen recently, we may need to arrange a check-up before approving further medication — just to make sure everything is still right for them. This will incur a fee.
Important Information About Prescriptions
- Ongoing medication: Regular examinations are needed for pets on long-term medications. The duration depends on the case in question. Usually, the maximum time between examinations is 6 months. All re-examinations incur a charge.
- Written prescriptions: If you prefer, we can issue a written prescription so you can purchase medication elsewhere — a fee applies.
