What to Expect
Choosing euthanasia is never easy — but when the time is right, it can be a peaceful, loving way to end suffering and give your pet the gentle farewell they deserve.
Our team will take the time to talk you through everything, answer any questions you have, and support you in making the right decision for your pet. If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to offer a quality-of-life assessment and talk openly, with no pressure.
We’ve created a space for euthanasia, designed to be calm, quiet, and as comforting as possible — a space where you can spend unhurried, peaceful final moments with your pet.
There’s no rush, no pressure. Everything is done gently and at your pace, with your pet’s comfort at the heart of it all. Whether you’d like to stay with them throughout or say goodbye in your own way, we’ll support whatever feels right for you.
Aftercare Options
In partnership with Kings Hill Cremations, we offer a range of respectful aftercare options, including:
- Individual cremation with ashes returned
- Communal cremation (no ashes returned)
- Keepsakes and paw prints available on request
Whatever you choose, we’ll help guide you through each step with kindness and respect.
At the Practice or at Home
We currently offer euthanasia appointments at our practice only, in a private, peaceful space designed to give you and your pet comfort and calm in their final moments.
If you’re looking for an at-home option, we recommend Paws Over the Rainbow — a compassionate, independent service offering gentle home euthanasia for pets in Leicester and the surrounding areas.
Please note: Paws Over the Rainbow is a separate service, and their own charges will apply.
